This film is narrated by a 78 year old Lahu elder called Cago – the Lahu are ‘Hill Tribe’ people like the Karen or the Akka.
When he was a young man Cago was forced to flee from his village. That was in 1957. He now lives in Thailand where he has been granted Thai citizenship. But, as he explains, his soul remains in Burma, and he longs to return to his homeland before he dies. He listens to Burmese radio broadcasts and other media daily, and is well informed about the political situation in his homeland.
အခ်ိန္ ၁၅ မိနစ္ေလာက္ရရင္ ဒီဗီဒီယိုေလးကို ၾကည့္ၾကည့္ပါ။ လြန္ခဲ့တဲ့ႏွစ္ေပါင္း ၅၀ ေလာက္က ထိုင္းႏိုင္ငံထဲခိုလံႈလာတဲ့ က်ိဳင္းတံုဇာတိ လားဟူအဖိုးအိုတစ္ေယာက္ရဲ႔ ျမန္မာျပည္ကို အလြမ္းေပါ့။ ျမန္မာျပည္အေၾကာင္း ၊ ေဒၚေအာင္ဆန္းစုၾကည္အေၾကာင္း ၊ ျမန္မာေဘာလံုးအသင္းအေၾကာင္းေတြ ဗမာစကားမပီတပီနဲ႔ စီကာပတ္ကံုးေျပာသြားတာ သေဘာက်စရာပါ။
