 ဘယ္လ္ဂ်ီယမ္ နိုင္ငံမွာ ေရာဂါကြ်မ္းေနတဲ့ ကေလးေတြကို ဘယ္အရြယ္မဆို ေသခ်ိန္ မတိုင္ခင္မွာ ညင္ညင္သာသာနဲ့ အသက္ ထြက္ခြင့္ ျပုမယ့္ ဥပေဒတရပ္ကို ပါလီမန္မွာ မဲခြဲ အတည္ျပုလိုက္ျကပါတယ္။

၂၀ဝ၂ခုနွစ္ကစလို့ အရြယ္ေရာက္သူေတြကို စာနာစိတ္နဲ့ အသက္ထြက္သြားေစခြင့္ ျပုထားတဲ့ ဥပေဒကို ထပ္တိုးခ်ဲ့ ျပဌာန္းေရးနဲ့ ပတ္သက္လို့ ရိုမန္ ကက္သလစ္ ခရစ္ယာန္ အသင္းေတာ္ရဲ့ ကန့္ကြက္မႈေတြ ရွိေနတဲ့ ျကားက ပါလီမန္မွာ တခဲနက္ ေထာက္ခံမဲ ေပးခဲ့ျကပါတယ္။

ညင္ညင္သာသာနဲ့ အသက္ထြက္သြားေအာင္ လုပ္မယ့္ ကေလးဟာ ေဆးဆက္ကုလို့ မရေတာ့ပဲ ေဝဒနာ မျပတ္ခံစားေနရသူ ျဖစ္ရမယ္။ နိုးနိုးျကားျကား အသိစိတ္ ရွိေနျပီး ဆံုးျဖတ္ပိုင္ခြင့္ ရွိရမယ္လို့ အဲဒီ ဥပေဒထဲမွာ ေဖၚျပထားပါတယ္။

လူထု စစ္တမ္း ေကာက္ယူမႈေတြ အရ ဒီ ဥပေဒသစ္ကို ဘယ္လ္ဂ်ီယမ္ နိုင္ငံသားအမ်ားစုက ေထာက္ခံခဲ့ျကတယ္လို့ သိရပါတယ္။

Belgium's parliament votes through child euthanasia

 

The vote came after a heated debate

Parliament in Belgium has passed a bill allowing euthanasia for terminally ill children without any age limit, by 86 votes to 44, with 12 abstentions.

When, as expected, the bill is signed by the king, Belgium will become the first country in the world to remove any age limit on the practice.
It may be requested by terminally ill children who are in great pain and also have parental consent.
Opponents argue children cannot make such a difficult decision.
It is 12 years since Belgium legalised euthanasia for adults.
In the Netherlands, Belgium's northern neighbour, euthanasia is legal for children over the age of 12, if there is parental consent.
