ၿဗိတိန္ရိွ ျပည္သူလူထု ဆိုင္ရာ စာၾကည့္တိုက္မ်ားတြင္ လိင္စိတ္ႏိႈးဆြေသာ စာအုပ္မ်ား ငွားရမ္းမႈသည္ ၿပီးခဲ့ေသာ ၁၂ လအတြင္း ၅၀၀ ရာခိုင္ႏႈန္း ျမင့္တက္ခဲ့ၿပီး၊ ၎ျမင့္တက္လာမႈကို “ Fifty Shades ” အက်ိဳးသက္ေရာက္မႈဟု ေခၚဆိုၾကသည္။

ၿပီးခဲ့ေသာ ႏွစ္အတြင္းက အထင္ရွားဆံုး လိင္စိတ္ႏိႈးဆြသည့္ စာအုပ္ အင္ဒီဂိုဘလြန္း၏ “ Destined to Feel ” မွာ အႀကိမ္ေရေပါင္း ၁၁၇၀၀ နီးပါး ငွားရမ္းခဲ့ရသည္။

၎ျမင့္တက္လာမႈမ်ားသည္ အီးအယ္လ္ဂ်ိမ္းစ္၏ ေရာင္းအေကာင္းဆံုး စာအုပ္ “ Fifty Shades of Grey ” ေၾကာင့္ ျဖစ္ၿပီး ငွားရမ္းမႈ စာရင္းတြင္ တတိယ ေနရာ ရရိွထားသည္။

၂၀၁၁၊ ၂၀၁၂ ခုႏွစ္ ကာလအတြင္း အငွားရမ္းရဆံုး လိင္စိတ္ႏိႈးဆြသည့္ စာအုပ္ ေလာ္ရယ္ေက ေရးသားသည့္ “ Divine Misdemeanours ” မွာ အႀကိမ္ေရေပါင္း ၁၅၀၀ သာ ငွားရမ္းခဲ့ရၿပီး “ Destined to Feel ” စာအုပ္၏ အစြန္းထြက္နီးပါးသာ ရိွခဲ့သည္။

၎ကဲ့သို႕ လိင္စိတ္ႏိႈးဆြေသာ စာအုပ္မ်ား ျမင့္တက္လာမႈသည္ စာၾကည့္တိုက္မ်ား၏ အလိုအေလ်ာက္ ငွားရမ္းေသာ စံနစ္မ်ားကို အသံုးျပဳလာျခင္းေၾကာင့္ ျဖစ္သည္ဟုလည္း ဆိုၿပီး ၎စံနစ္ကို အသံုးျပဳသည့္ အတြက္ ငွားရမ္းသူမ်ား အေနျဖင့္ မ်က္ႏွာပူစရာ မလိုပဲ လြတ္လြတ္လပ္လပ္ ငွားရမ္းႏိုင္ျခင္းေၾကာင့္ ျဖစ္သည္ဟု ဆိုၾကသည္။

ျပည္သူလူထု ဆိုင္ရာ ငွားရမ္းမႈ အခြင့္အေရး (PLR) မွ ၂၀၁၂၊ ၂၀၁၃ ခုႏွစ္ အတြက္ ၿဗိတိန္ရိွ စာၾကည့္တိုက္မ်ားတြင္ အငွားရမ္းဆံုး စာအုပ္မ်ား စာရင္းႏွင့္ အငွားရမ္းရဆံုး စာေရးဆရာ စာရင္းတို႕ကို ထုတ္ျပန္ခဲ့သည္။

ခုႏွစ္ႏွစ္တာ ကာလအတြင္း အေမရိကန္ ျပစ္မႈေရးရာဆိုင္ရာ စာေရးဆရာ ဂ်ိမ္းစ္ပီတာဆန္သည္ ၿဗိတိန္ ျပတိုက္မ်ားတြင္ အငွားရမ္းရဆံုး စာေရးဆရာ အျဖစ္ကို ဆက္လက္ ထိန္းသိမ္းႏိုင္ခဲ့သည္။

ထိပ္ဆံုး ၁၀ ေယာက္စာရင္းတြင္ ကေလးသူငယ္ ဆိုင္ရာ စာေပမ်ား ေရးသားသူမ်ားမွ ၆ ေနရာအထိ ပါဝင္ခ့ဲသည္။

၁၂ လတာ ကာလအတြက္ အငွားရမ္းရဆံုး စာအုပ္စာရင္းတြင္ လီးခ်ဳိင္း ေရးသားသည့္ “ The Affair ” သည္ ပထမ ေနရာ ရရိွခဲ့ၿပီး ဒုတိယ ေနရာအတြက္လည္း လီးခ်ဳိင္းပင္ ေရးသားထားသည့္ “ A Wanted Man ”မွ ေနရာယူထားခဲ့သည္။

ျပည္သူလူထု ဆိုင္ရာ ငွားရမ္းမႈ အခြင့္အေရးကို ယဥ္ေက်းမႈ၊ မီဒီယာႏွင့္ အားကစား ဆုိင္ရာ ဌာနမွ ေထာက္ပံ့မႈျဖင့္ ၁၉၇၉ ခုႏွစ္တြင္ ဖြဲ႕စည္းခဲ့သည္။

ငွားရမ္းရာမွ ရရိွေသာ ဝင္ေငြအားလံုးသည္ စာေရးဆရာမ်ားမွ တိုက္ရိုက္ ရရိွၿပီး အငွားရမ္းရဆံုး စာေရးဆရာမ်ား အတြက္ ေပါင္ ၆၆၀၀ အထိ အျမင့္ဆံုး ရရိွႏိုင္သည္။

Libraries see surge in erotic book borrowing

Inigo Bloom's Destined to Feel leads the erotic fiction charge

The borrowing of erotic fiction from UK public libraries has leapt by 500% over the past 12 months, in what is being called the "Fifty Shades" effect.

Last year's most popular erotic fiction title, Indigo Bloom's Destined to Feel, was borrowed almost 11,700 times.
The surge is attributed to EL James' bestselling novel, which took third place in the most borrowed titles list.
Yet none of the trilogy appears in the erotic fiction top 10 because the EL James books are classified as romance.
In 2011/12, the most borrowed erotic fiction title, Divine Misdemeanours by Laurell K Hamilton, was only borrowed 1,500 times - a fraction of the figure for Destined to Feel.
One suggestion for the increase is that automated library checkouts might be helping borrowers avoid any embarrassment when taking such books out.
