ျဗိတိန္ႏိုင္ငံ West Midlands မွာ ေနထိုင္တဲအသက္ ၄၄ ႏွစ္အရြယ္ Amanda နဲ႔ ၃၉ ႏွစ္အရြယ္ Nathan Gibbs တုိ႔ ႏွစ္ဦး ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ သူတုိ႔ ၂ ဦး မဂၤလာေဆာင္မွာ ဒစ္စေနးက ကာတြန္းေတြလို ဝတ္စားခဲ့ ပါတယ္။
အမ်ိဳးသား ျဖစ္သူက Shrek လို ဝတ္ျပီး အမ်ိဳးသမီးက Princess Fiona လို ဝတ္ဆင္ ပါတယ္။ ဧည့္သည္မ်ားကလည္း Mickey Mouse, Gingerbread, Captain Jack Sparrow, Disney Princess အစရွိသျဖင့္ ဒစ္စေနးက ကာတြန္းနဲ႔ ဇာတ္ေကာင္ေတြလို ဝတ္စားခဲ့ၾက ပါတယ္။ ျပီးေတာ့ ဘာလက္ေဆာင္ကိုမွ မယူပါဘူး။ လာေရာက္သူေတြကိုေတာ့ ဒစ္စေနး ဇာတ္ေကာင္ေတြလို ဝတ္ဖို႔ ေျပာပါတယ္။ လက္ေဆာင္ မယူေပမယ့္ အလွဴေငြ ေကာက္ပါတယ္။

Other brides will be green with envy: Couple dress as Shrek and Fiona for charity wedding
‘I bet you ain’t never seen a donkey fly!’ and I bet you ain’t never seen a groom and bride dressed as Shrek and Fiona before, either?
But for one couple in the West Midlands, they staged exactly that to raise money for charity – a Shrek-themed wedding that is.
Newleyweds Amanda, 44, and Nathan Gibbs, 39, had been together eight years before they got hitched this morning.
In those years they lost a number of friends to cancer: ‘It just broke our hearts,’ said Mr Gibbs.
‘We wanted to do something to raise awareness of cancer and to encourage more people to go and get checked out,’ he added.
So the couple decided to base their wedding on that of Shrek and Fiona from the DreamWorks blockbuster that stars the voices of Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, and Cameron Diaz.
The couple from Kingswinford, who run an ironing service, got married at Priory Hall in Priory Park, Dudley, in front of a legion of guests also in fancy dress.
Former bricklayer Mr Gibbs said the plan was a long-standing joke between him and his fiancé.
All our friends started getting married and I said “When we do it we’ll have a fairytale wedding. I’ll be Shrek and you can be Princess Fiona”.
‘Earlier this year we held a fundraiser for Cancer Research and we were talking about what else we could do when Shrek came on the TV. We turned to each other and laughed.’
The two began excitedly planning their wedding but then suddenly were given some unexpected bad news.
‘My sister Donna was diagnosed with breast cancer. It was such a shock. We were trying to do something to help others and then it happened to us.’
His sister has now been given the all-clear and the couple hope that the charity wedding and the promotion it has garnered will encourage others to get any lumps they have checked out.
They asked guests to donate money to Cancer Research rather than buy them gifts.
