အေမရိကန္စစ္တပ္မွာ စစ္မႈထမ္းေနသူ ေထာင္ေပါင္းမ်ားစြာကို စက္႐ုပ္ေတြနဲ႔ အစားထိုးႏုိင္ဖုိ႔ ျဖစ္ႏိုင္ေခ်ရွိမရွိ စစ္တပ္က ေလ့လာဆန္းစစ္ ေနပါတယ္။

အေမရိကန္စစ္တပ္ဟာ စစ္မႈထမ္းသူအေရအတြက္ကို ေလွ်ာ့ခ်ၿပီး စက္႐ုပ္ေတြကို ပိုခ်ထားဖို႔ စီစဥ္ေနတယ္လို႔ ေလ့က်င့္ေရးနဲ႔ မူဝါဒခ်မွတ္ေရးဆိုင္ရာ စစ္ဌာနခ်ဳပ္ အႀကီးအကဲ ဗိုလ္ခ်ဳပ္ႀကီး Robert Cone က ဝါရွင္တန္ၿမိဳ႕ဆင္ေျခဖံုးမွာ မၾကာေသးခင္က က်င္းပခဲ့တဲ့ အေမရိကန္ ေလေၾကာင္းပ်ံသန္းေရးဆိုင္ရာ ညီလာခံမွာ ေျပာၾကားလိုက္ပါတယ္။

ေရွ႕ႏွစ္ကုန္ေလာက္မွာ တပ္မဟာတခုအတြက္ စစ္သား ၄ ေထာင္ရွိေနရာကေန ၃ ေထာင္အထိ ေလွ်ာ့ခ်မယ္လို႔ ဆိုပါတယ္။ ၂၀၁၉ ခုႏွစ္ေလာက္မွာေတာ့ လက္ရွိမွာ တပ္သား သန္းတဝက္ေက်ာ္ေက်ာ္ရွိေနတဲ့ အေမရိကန္စစ္တပ္မွာ စစ္သား ၄ သိန္း ၂ ေသာင္းေလာက္ အထိပဲ ရွိေတာ့မွာျဖစ္ပါတယ္။

တိုက္ခိုက္ေရးမွာ မရွိန္မပ်က္ဘဲ ဆက္ၿပီး ထိေရာက္မႈရွိေနေစဖို႔အတြက္ က်ဆံုးသြားတဲ့ စစ္သားေတြေနရာမွာ စက္႐ုပ္ေတြနဲ႔ စတင္ အစားထုိးဖို႔ စစ္တပ္က စီစဥ္ေနတာပါ။ သူတို႔ဟာ တုိက္ခိုက္ေရးအတြက္မဟုတ္ပဲ အေထာက္အကူရေစဖို႔ ျဖစ္ၿပီး ကိုယ္တုိင္လႈပ္လ်ား သြားလာႏုိင္တဲ့ ေျမျပင္သြားနဲ႔ ေဝဟင္သြား ယာဥ္ေတြအျပင္ ေလးလံတဲ့စစ္ပစၥည္းေတြနဲ႔ ဝန္ထုပ္ဝန္ပိုးေတြကို သယ္ယူႏိုင္တဲ့ စက္႐ုပ္ျမည္းေတြ ပါဝင္တယ္လို႔ ဗိုလ္ခ်ဳပ္ႀကီး Cone ကေျပာပါတယ္။

အခုလို စက္႐ုပ္ေတြကို သံုးတာဟာ အေမရိကန္စစ္တပ္ကို ေရႊ႕ေျပာင္းေရးနဲ႔ တပ္ေနရာခ်ထားေရးမွာေရာ တိုက္ခိုက္ေရးဘက္မွာပါ ပိုၿပီး တိုးတက္လာေစမယ္လို႔လည္း ေျပာပါတယ္။

U.S. Army general says robots could replace one-fourth of combat soldiers by 2030

The U.S. Army may send robotic soldiers to the battlefield within the next 30 years, General Robert Cone said at the Army Aviation symposium on Jan. 15. It is part of the Army's effort to become “a smaller, more lethal, deployable and agile force," he explained, according to Defense News.
As the head of the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), Cone is instrumental in mapping out the Army's future.
“I’ve got clear guidance to think about what if you could robotically perform some of the tasks in terms of maneuverability, in terms of the future of the force,” he said.
The future of the force could see one quarter of the 4,000 soldiers in the Brigade Combat Team replaced with robots and drones. Cone says it will be possible to reduce manpower without reducing firepower. But in order to get there, the Army will "need to fundamentally change the nature of the force, and that would require a breakthrough in science and technology," Lt. Gen. Keith Walker told Defense News.
